Early Childhood Development

In early childhood, music therapy is used to enhance and develop social skills, communication, self-expression and sensory motor skills.

It may also be used to develop relationships with others through listening and participation in music making.

Play is encouraged through structured social activities within a fun, musical context. This can enhance learning through musical repetition and encourage confidence through exploring the instruments.
