WHAT IS MUSIC THERAPY?
We all have the innate ability to connect to music. Everyone can participate in making music regardless of ability, age or ethnicity. This is what makes music therapy an effective intervention for people of all ages and abilities.
Music therapy is an evidence based profession. A music therapist uses music based methods to enable a person to achieve their potential. The therapeutic relationship is central to the music therapy process.

Music therapists are trained at postgraduate level and have extensive training in connecting with their clients at a psychotheraputic level.
